We chose Sylvie to be our Realtor and had a great experience. We very actively looked for homes for over 2 months, saw a lot of preowned but we wanted to get a good deal and we decided to go into a new home and having Sylvie on our side helped us get more for the money we are paying. Why we liked working with Sylvie: * Sylvie was always available to us and would always promptly respond to email / calls and even video conference as well as face to face meeting. * Sylvie over communicates in order to be very clear that she understands what we want and that we understand what she advises. * Sylvie did not push us into homes nor did she push us away from homes. Instead she asked us how we felt about the home after each visit and let us come to our own decisions. If we were unsure, we asked her for her personal/professional opinion and only then would she influence our decision. * Negotiations with the seller's agent were tough and choosing the right options and upgrades for our new home made the purchase process stressful at times. It is easy to get emotional and react to various situations during the process, especially when it involves purchasing something so expensive (a home in Firsco area). Sylvie helped us to focus on our end goal; to win the upgrades we could win and then close on the home. She recommended the strategy/approach we needed to take whenever hiccups occur and how to deal with it and what to expect and not to expect. she was simply wonderful especially we were first home buyers. * Purchasing a home is a business transaction, but some of the other agents that we interviewed before sylvie treat the entire process as purely business (very impersonal and all-business). Our experience with Sylvie while professional was also very personal, we got to learn about Sylvie, her family and likewise she got to know us. What you look for when you choose a realtor may be different for everyone, but I can vouch that with Sylvie you will get someone who will do her best to help you get the home that you want at the price you can afford and add on some extras too. Besides a lot of people think that realtor gets paid by the buyer but in fact they get paid by the seller so she is working for you FOR FREE at the end and this is priceless knowing you have someone who knows the business and is on your side. Sylvie is prompt, professional, is always upbeat and easy to talk to. This buying and selling process is stressful and Sylvie sure does take a load off with her extensive knowledge of the process.
